MARCY TWYMAN, CPA Marcy Twyman is a Certified Public Accountant that joined the firm in March 2002. Before coming to Crawford and Associates, Marcy was Finance Director at the City of Guymon, Oklahoma for 11 years. The City of Guymon was the first city in the United States to implement GASB 34. She was key in the implementation of GASB 34 and has taught various classes and seminars on the subject.  She was recognized as the 2000 Outstanding CPA in Business and Industry by the Oklahoma Society of CPAs. In 2004, Marcy became a co-owner of Crawford & Associates.

DEANNA CRAWFORD, CPA Deanna Crawford is a CPA that joined Crawford & Associates in 1990 upon graduation from college. She has a degree in Accounting from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. Deanna has over 13 years experience serving governmental entities. In 2004, Deanna became a co-owner of Crawford & Associates.

TAMMY HUNT Tammy Hunt joined Crawford & Associates in 1988 to provide consulting services to cities and towns. Prior to joining the firm, Tammy was the City Clerk of the City of Nowata, Oklahoma. Tammy is a consulting manager with over 15 years experience in serving governmental entities.

DWAYNE TATE, CPA Dwayne Tate is a Certified Public Accountant who joined Crawford & Associates, P.C. in April 2005 to head up the Internal Audit and Special Projects division of the firm. Prior to joining the firm, he was Controller for Rose State College and Director of Finance for Oklahoma City Community College, and has a combined total of thirteen (13) years financial management experience in Oklahoma Higher Education. He also has three (3) years experience as Director of Internal Audit for Board of Regents of Oklahoma Colleges and Universities, and two (2) years experience as staff auditor with KPMG Peat Marwick. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and works part-time in radio. .

JULIE LEE, CPA Julie Lee joined Crawford & Associates in 2001.  She is has a degree in Accounting from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.  Julie is a CPA with 5 years of experience in providing consulting and audit services to governmental entities and works out of the Ada area.

WENDY MORENO  Wendy joined Crawford & Associates in 1995 as part of our support staff. She now works with the professional staff and is responsible for coordinating all our professional engagements and monitoring our quality control policies and procedures.

AMANDA COPELAND, CPA Amanda Copeland worked with Crawford & Associates for two years as an intern while attending Oklahoma Christian University. She graduated in December 2002 at which time she joined the firm full-time as an auditor and consultant.

ANDREA DEPEE Andrea joined Crawford & Associates in December 2004 as an accountant within our professional services division. Prior to joining the Firm, Andrea worked within the accounting division with Braum’s for 20 years. Andrea’s primary function with Crawford & Associates is working with our clients involved in the remote accounting project.

KRISTY AWTRY Kristy Awtry has been with Crawford & Associates for two years as a college intern and now works full time with the professional and administrative staff. She graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in May 2004.

JENNIFER TRAXLER Jennifer is a 2002 graduate of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma with a degree in Business Administration. She has worked for the Oklahoma State Auditor's Office for five years, including working as an intern her junior year in college. She joined Crawford & Associates, P.C. in December 2005 as an auditor and consultant.

KIMBERLY GREEN Kimberly joined Crawford & Associates in July 2004 as an accountant within our professional services division. Prior to joining Crawford & Associates, Kimberly served as Financial Officer with the Pottawatomie County District Attorney’s Office.

KRISTIN LAMAR, MBA, CFE Kristin Lamar is a Certified Fraud Examiner and joined Crawford & Associates in August 2007 from the Oklahoma Office of State Auditor and Inspector. Her prior experiences as a Performance Audit Supervisor with the State Auditor’s Office encompassed financial, compliance, investigative and performance audits for state programs, activities, and entities in accordance with Auditing Standards, OMB Circulars, and State Statutes. Before her stint at the State Auditor’s Office, Kristin worked six years in the banking industry. Kristin is in charge of the firm’s investigative practice, and is a systems, processes, and controls consultant with the firm providing a variety of accounting and consulting services to firm clients.

MIKE STARCHMAN, CPA Mike Starchman is a Certified Public Accountant that joined Crawford & Associates in June of 2008 after serving as the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department’s Chief Internal Auditor and working for over seven years with the Oklahoma State Auditor’s Office where he served as an auditor, audit supervisor and manager for a wide variety of audits. Mike is the firm’s manager in charge of its state government agency practice, and also provides accounting, consulting, and internal audit services to other clients of the firm.
